In February 2017, a pilot project was established for the town of Lincoln in Kewaunee County Wisconsin where they were experiencing ongoing water contamination issues with their private wells. Some residents in the county were not allowed to drink, or even bathe in their water. Five individual wells were equipped with our Water POD ™ purification system. The Water POD™ successfully eliminated E. coli, nitrates, pesticides, and other contaminants. The Pilot project ran for six months where it was deemed successful based on all expected criteria of the POD’s performance and quality testing. The true success was that for the first time in nearly three years these five participants in the pilot project were able to drink and bathe in their water.
